Join us for an afternoon with a special guest, who will present an engaging introduction to what intelligence is and how it helps reduce uncertainty for military and national‑security decision‑makers. He will explore the main sources of intelligence—such as human intelligence, signals intelligence, imagery intelligence, and open‑source intelligence—and explain the roles of key United Kingdom agencies including the Security Service, the Secret Intelligence Service, Government Communications Headquarters, and Defence Intelligence, highlighting how they work together to protect the nation.
It also touches on high‑level, openly discussed tradecraft concepts such as surveillance awareness, the use of closed‑circuit television as an intelligence tool, and the principles behind facial‑recognition technology, all within a framework of ethics and responsible practice.
Join us for an engaging afternoon with a hot drink and cake included. This is a repeat of a session held in May 2026.
