Paul Barnes completed his doctorate in English at Swansea U.C. in 1982, after study at Leicester University. He taught English in schools for 36 years, mostly at Bedford Modern. Involved in Bedfordshire cricket, theatre and poetry scenes since 1987, he runs two monthly poetry sessions and is working on his fourth compilation concerning local writers.
