Carol Catlow (MA, Ed) is a trained teacher with almost 40, years’ experience in teaching Textiles to 11 – 18 year old girls and occasionally groups of boys! She has taught in several comprehensive school around the country but Dame Alice Harpur was her last school having taught there for over 20 years, the last six years as Deputy Head.  Dress-making is Carol’s first love, however, with changes over the years, knitting, crochet, embroidery and lace making have also become part of her skill set. She has taught ‘O’ level, which was converted to GCSE and ‘A’ level courses
