This short course will explore creative writing about place, with a particular focus on Bedford. We will think about how to create a strong sense of place in your writing and discuss how other writers have done this. Using images and other stimuli, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own relationship with the town, exploring their individual memories and experiences. This short course is suitable for anyone with an interest in creative writing who would like to explore different genres of writing (prose, poetry, dramatic monologue), reflecting on Bedford and what it means to them.

This course will run over two consecutive days Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd of July.
