Each session will focus on a different artist and painting, exploring the narrative within the image, the context of the piece, and the life of the artist. Art history novices will learn how to decode and read a painting, while art enthusiasts will deepen their knowledge of individual artists and their influence on European art.

The artists we will study are Gericault, Hogarth and Picasso.
