This course is for those with some basic knowledge who want to refresh their skills or wish to go a step further. The sessions will begin investigating paintings by well known artists. These techniques will then be applied to a guided choice of subject matter such as still-life, landscape and portraits. Participants will be supported throughout to aid individual learning.

Participants will be required to provide their own set of watercolour paints (pans or tubes), brushes and paper (preferably watercolour paper pressed or not pressed) and a water container. Art supplies can be bought from WH Smith, The Arc-Art supplies, The Range- Retail Centre, Hobby Craft or Amazon.
During the course students/participants are given the opportunity to bring in content in the form of objects to work from or photographs as source material.
