This course is ideal for complete beginners as well as those with some previous experience in stained glass. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill, build confidence and meet fellow art enthusiasts.

You’ll gain a solid foundation in traditional leaded stained glass techniques — the same methods used to create the beautiful windows found in churches and stately homes across the UK. After practising the essential skills, you’ll move on to designing and making your own stained glass panel. The class is relaxed, supportive and enjoyable, with plenty of guidance throughout.

As you progress, you’ll get to grips with the key techniques and then apply them to create a custom-designed piece of your own.

Please note that this workshop requires a degree of hand dexterity and strength. Due to the use of lead, we cannot offer this workshop to pregnant women or nursing mothers.
