Learn the heritage craft of leaded stained glass, as seen in churches and stately homes throughout the UK. During this informative and hands-on 4 hour workshop, you will be guided by a professional stained glass artist and qualified teacher to craft your own stained glass panel using traditional techniques and tools. Your finished panel will be perfect for display in a window, or alternatively to use as an outdoor garden feature year round. It will be yours to take home and enjoy the same day. Working from a paper template, you’ll have a wide range of coloured glass to choose from for your design. You will be taught how to cut and refine the shape of glass pieces, how to assemble your work (or “lead up”), and how to solder, putty and finish your panel ready for display. What’s Included: Learn the art of glass cutting, lead working, soldering and finishing under the guidance of a seasoned professional; and explore the fundamentals of stained glass art, from glass colour selection to cutting, shaping, and assembling. Our immersive approach ensures you gain confidence as you learn, and our supportive and skilled instructor will be there to guide you at every step.
Unleash your creativity with a variety of patterns and designs, from traditional to contemporary. Craft a piece that reflects your own style and imagination.
