Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (1857-1941) was that rare breed who worked across all disciplines from furniture to wallpapers and fabrics, as well as architecture. A proponent of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and a follower of William Morris, Voysey was able to embrace modern industrial design practices to enable his designs to be enjoyed by a wide audience; designs that remain in use today such as Alice in Wonderland and The House that Jack Built.
