Lipreading is something we all do to a degree, but as your hearing deteriorates you rely on it more. These classes build on this skill in a supportive environment; building confidence in conversation, based on what you see as well as what you can hear. They offer coping tactics and reassurance while exploring communication in a fun and safe environment. This course is suitable if you have little experience in lipreading or need help having lived with hearing loss for a while.
Commit to one term at a time, continuing for as long as you need: the theory stays the same, but the topics used to teach it, change.
