An introduction to find your way around the sky and identify the brighter constellations and using star maps. A review of the many solar system and deep sky objects found in the sky and how to observe them. Describe how a telescope works and is best used, showing some of the more popular accessories used with them. As part of this course, I encourage people to bring in their own telescope where possible, so they become more familiar and more comfortable with them.
