This flexible, workshop-based course will offer lots of practical opportunities to explore different forms of writing. Each week we will play with words and discover what the work of other writers can show us about narrative, character, dialogue, description and other elements of literature. You will be encouraged to share your work within the group. This course is open to everyone. Participants should bring along a pen and a notebook.

There will be no class on Friday 13th February – extra week will run on 27/03/2026
