This is an exploration of materials & techniques used to create a variety of line, tone, shape texture and more. We will use dip pen ink, graphic pens, biro and also brush work with inks and paints and paper cutout/mono – printing. Artists referenced are from Van Gogh to Beardsley & Bauhaus.

Materials needed: Dip-pen & ink; a couple of watercolour brushes, profi pen (graphics pens), biro, watercolour (i.e Black/Paynes grey) and/or black/white gouache and cartridge paper.
