Body Balance 10-11am: Lauren Thompson

"This is a combination of Tai Chi and Yoga choreographed to music. It is a low impact class, which focuses on strength, core stability, balance and flexibility. Participants should have the ability to get to and from the floor with ease, as many exercises will include rolling through the spine to the floor and downward dogs. The class will focus on the use of breath to develop a broader range of motion. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. There will be 3 separate 1 hour sessions for max 6 persons each session"

Tutor: Lauren Thompson

Lauren Thompson has been studying and working in the health and fitness industry since 2006. She studied her BTEC National Diploma in Sport & Exercise Sciences at A-Level. She graduated from Roehampton University in 2011 studying Dance. She then worked in various health clubs in London teaching group exercise classes and maintaining a private Personal Training client base. She graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music & Dance in December 2014 after she completed her MSc Degree in Dance Science. She has worked with a vast quantity of people in both a health and fitness environment and an educational setting. She has taught children as young as five years old and ranged right up through adulthood.
