Mindfulness: Cheryl Green

This five week course will explore the basics of Mindfulness which means “ paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.”    There is much research supporting the benefits of mindfulness and meditation, among them:
- Encouraging deep relaxation and feelings of peace
- Focuses the mind and promotes sleep
- Increased concentration
- Enhances creativity and opens the mind to new ideas
- A reduction in stress and anxiety
During this course we will discuss and practice basic Mindfulness   techniques and learn how to incorporate Mindfulness into our everyday life. Cheryl Green is a certified Mindfulness teacher"
