Script Reading Shakespeare: A Midsummer Night's Dream: Margaret Norwich

"A fun way to revisit one of Shakespeare's most delightful plays, just in time for summer!  We will draw on scholarship and seminal performances to enhance our reading, but there is no better way to appreciate a play than by taking part.  There will be no typecasting, you may be Theseus in Act One and Moonshine in the interlude, there will be non-speaking parts for those who prefer them, and all are welcome!"

Tutor: Margaret Norwich

"Margaret Norwich studied liberal arts at Vassar College, New York and read English at Girton College, Cambridge.  She has worked in publishing, higher education and the voluntary sector. She lectured on English Language & Literature for many years at Bedford College/DeMontfort University, and was Tutor/Organiser for the WEA in Bedfordshire. Her interests include the poetry of Sylvia Plath, the novels of Hilary Mantel, the plays of Tom Stoppard, and the redemptive power of rock music."
