The Long View by Elizabeth Jane Howard: Margaret Norwich

"This is the compelling story of one woman and her marriage told by a writer whose craft and humanity are universally praised. Antonia Fleming faces a life alone in 1950’s London, but as she looks towards her future, the novel moves steadily backwards in time, tracing her marriage to its beginning in the 1920s, through years of mistake, motherhood, dreams and war: a master class in form, a great read and much to discuss!"
