Antony Gormley Sculptures: Jenny Morris

"Perhaps because Antony Gormley has done more than any other contemporary artist to take his work beyond the gallery into different settings, his work is better known and admired than most. He believes profoundly in the importance of art in all our lives, and often involves his audiences in the creation of projects. ‘Sculpture’, he said, ‘is an act of faith in life, in its continuity’. In these sessions we shall study and discuss key examples of Gormley’s work, the influences which have inspired him, and his life and conversations about his work."
